The Arts Resources
Arts Council of Lincoln County
This non-profit organization provides exhibition opportunities for area artists and art education for our youth and adults. Most exhibits and events are free to the public. Classes and camps are offered for a small fee which covers tuition and materials with scholarships available for those in need.
Bach to Rock Music School
The school is located on the corner of Sam Furr and W. Catawba near Harris Teeter and CVS in Huntersville near Denver.
The inside is all new, clean, and bright. Lessons are in real studios, not a closet at the back of a store selling music supplies. The instruments are all new and the instructors are great with ages 9 months to adult.
What kids love about Bach to Rock is they license current songs that kids hear on the radio! Then, when they progress thru their lessons, they have the option to join a band with other students.
CHEA Singers
Charlotte Home Educators Assoc. offers choral training for homeschooled students in the greater Charlotte area. There are over 250 singers who meet on Tuesday afternoons in the Matthews area to participate in various choirs for ages 6-19. Our desire is to produce skilled musicians who seek to serve others and glorify God through singing.
